Rose Alpert's Photo Interpreted

My art quilt group (http://sistersincloth.blogspot.com) is working on a collaboration with photographer Rose Alpert (www.rdalpertphoto.com). We each are interpreting one of her works and several of us are also interpreting another in a "slice" format.

We have no deadline yet but at the end of this month we are all meeting for a progress report. As I will be away for a couple of weeks I decided to get ahead of the game for a change. I've done nothing on the slice...but my individual piece is done. So. Progress.
